David Austin Roses

 

We have just had another delivery of English shrub roses and these are in addition to the existing stock and include Dame Judy Dench, Roald Dahl, Tranquillity, Darcey Bussell, Princess Anne, Thomas a Becket. Olivia, Gentle Hermione.

I find these shrubs rose begin flowering on the 1^st June with an amazing flush but as I keep dead heading they go on and on often with the odd flower in November. I do treat them to seasonal doses of Farmyard manure which they love.

 This season despite the rain they are looking wonderful. I’ve given mine a feed in the garden as I feel while they are working so hard, they deserve it. Rose feed contains quite a bit of potassium which will hopefully encourage blooms.
