This is how it looks now! We hope our modifications can keep both you and us safe through this difficult time and allow you to still enjoy shopping for your garden.

We introduced 3 new ways to shop in response to the Covid-19 crisis. It is not safe for us to just open the gates. That will not allow social distancing. We open at 12pm-5pm with booked 50 minute shopping slots.The staff are safely tucked away behind a screen. The gate is manned. It sounds like a military operation but it is not. It just allows a safe number of people on site to shop at any one time whilst social distancing. 

We can not safely open the coffee shop or lifestyle shop with the homeware. It is for plants, compost and sundries that we are open. The nursery is extremely well stocked so you will find all your veg, bedding plants, shrubs, perennials, alpines trees etc as normal.

You will find sundries in the coffee area. When time is up the bell rings. Please join the marked queuing respecting distance to pay if you have not done so already. If you need to leave before this it is not a problem.

If it is only a few item or a bag of compost your require it might suit you to place an order via email and we can give you a collection time.Your good will be placed on a pallet just outside the gate in time for your allocated collection time.

We are still carrying out our locally deliveries and will continue to do so. Order via email to shop@thenurseries.com and we can call you back to process your order and organise delivery. Initially there was a back log due to the huge demand for this service. This has now not a problem.

All the details of 3 ways to shop are on our website. If you want to book a shopping slot just call the shop. You will need to book a few days in advance and arrive promptly so it works for everyone.
