There are some really good winter whites and silver foliage. White is not just reserved for summer flowers. Simple understated but stunningly pretty. Again less can be so much more in a garden. Repetition of colour themes being bold enough with your choice of colour and enough of it. White is my shade of winter and often summer.
lonicera fragrantissima

Silver and white really are winter bright!
These are the winter highlights beautiful in the low light.
The snowdrops are coming and the Cyclamen hederifolia makes a silver carpet under the trees. The hellebores are shining stars and the twisted silver corokia wire like stems have an ethereal feel. And the winter tree with flowers on bare stems a Prunus autumalis!
No fuss just simple silver white and green.
