Hydrangea paniculata Limelight is one of the stars of the garden perhaps even a celebrity. This is particularly noted for it’s white to lime green blooms which dissolve into the softest tissue paper pink. It also looks good in death which is not something we can say about all shrubs. I like to enjoy the fading flower heads through winter.
Hydrangea paniculata Littlelime
Like most paniculate varieties it is about 1.5m tall when
fully grown. Should this be too big perhaps look at the cultivar Little Lime
which is just a little bit more petite at about 1-1.2m. I find Limelight an
absolute stunner not just in the late summer garden but also in a large pot.
