Ceanothus Dark Star is a Californian lilac and is producing vibrant
deep blue flowers now.
It’s a brilliant evergreen wall shrub about 1.5 to 2.5m
height and width. Give it a sunny spot and a reasonably well drained soil. It’s from California!
The foliage is dark green and glossy and the flowers are
slightly fragrant.
It can be grown and pruned as a shrub or allowed to cover a
wall.
This ceanothus has been given the Award of Garden Merit by
the RHS.
