Mother's Day is traditionally a time for primrose baskets. Shrubs such as daphnes, magnolias, camellias and lilacs also make lovely gifts.
Plants do make perfect gifts but it doesn't have to be a plant. Its the very beginning of the gardening season and something for the potting shed may be very helpful or just a lovely gift from our country shop.
