Redrow Houses get Real Gardens

Involving a nurseries plants man in a  project allows the garden to become part of the home. These are pictures of  latest project Peter has been involved with in Cirencester. Photographs I  snapped yesterday in the mad rush for the houses and gardens  to be completed this week.

Watch out Redrow here comes Preston Bissett Nurseries with the plants, lets loose the mud and 'Create' real gardens!

Garden 1

Garden 1 has a formal layout with formal urns and paths but the planting in more relaxed using structural evergreens and woody shrubs. The pleached fruit tree in terracotta pots provide a natural break and bring a new interest, home grown apples. The arbour seat draws you down the path and through the garden and the whole vista is soften by a cascading archway of pendula silver birch.

Garden 2 has a Mediterranean feel enhanced with simple silvery shrubs. Lolly pop olives, rosemary and syrinciums look at home in the gravel border.

Garden 3 is an uncomplicated  well structured compact space. The greenery will help the garden feel intimate and soften its peripheral edges to make it feel cosy but not cluttered
