Also if the weather allows you can turf
If the soils not too wet you can plant roses
Rhubarb should be planted and covered with manure and a forcer for an early crop.
Clear the tops of any messy herbaceous
Dig over the heavy soils, hopefully any frosts will help to crumble the cloddy lumps even more
Plan and prepare it will soon be February time for shallots and onions to go in
Check your garden tool give them a clean and a sharpen
