Primula candelabra with hosta, ferns and bluebells |
Under the trees my bluebells came out this week amongst the cowslips and I can see the hostas coming through and the ferns waking up. New aqulegia (Grannys Bonnet) has self seeded successfully from the original.

Bluebells (Hyacinthoides non-scripta) |
Primula candelabra is growing stronger every day and I now have a dark red to plant to go with the magnificent orange.

Foliage from Acer Palmatum |
Sprinkles of white dicentra (Bleeding Heart) hover like snow drops and two little acer palmatumsI have added to this area of dappled shade are just sprouting their glorious foliage which will make a wonderful foil into the woody planting.
